WVON RADIO STATION This project is a retrofit of an existing manufacturing structure
into a state of the art radio station. The program calls for new administrative
offices, studios, sales offices and a radio museum. This historically African
American owned radio
station continues to be the commu- nity voice. The new facility will be more
assembled and centrally located.
The new structure will allow for expansion. The facade of
the existing building was
redesigned to create a large glass opening looking onto 87th Street. The new facade
and letter transform the building into a new landmark along the
busy thoroughfare. |
