forty-acre parcel in the far south community of Roseland in Chicago,
IL. The school is in a centerpiece for new community with retail, commercial, and residential development. The KWAME NKRUMAH ACADEMY will be a contract school developed
under Chicago Public School System 2010 Program. The school will be
pre-school through eighth grade. Future development will
include a High
School. The modern building will be designed with all green and
sustainable building technology. Energy
efficient techniques will also be incorporated. The building program includes classrooms, administrative offices, language labs, media center, gymnasium, cafeteria and full-scale athletic
field. |
