This project is a new construction of a three-story ambulatory center located at 6307 S. Stewart Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. St. Bernard Hospital Ambulatory Center is approximately 73,789 gross square feet and contains a lobby, waiting areas, exam rooms, staff support and building support spaces.  The ambulatory center includes, but not limited to, program spaces such as Physician’s Offices, Walk-In Clinic, Specialty Clinic, Women’s Health, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Pharmacy, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Lab, and Conference Center.

 

The building is being constructed in two phases, which is a design-build project. Phase 1 is the construction of the core and shell and Phase 2 is the construction of the tenant interior build out. The building is constructed using precast concrete, metal panels, structural steel framing and fenestration consists of a curtain wall window system. The exterior amenities include a green roof, bicycle racks, parking lots and landscaped areas.

 

Johnson & Lee, Ltd. teamed up with Proteus Group, who is the Architect of Record, to work on this project.
